Fife Council is currently involved in a Scottish Government funded Early Adopter Community project, focussed in the Levenmouth area, aimed at exploring what Out of School Childcare needs to look like to support parents/carers increase their reach towards positive destinations and reduce the risk of future hardship.
Why we need your information:
The EAC Project Team will process your information to:
- Manage your participation in the project, e.g. process a referral for a fully funded or subsidised place in an Out of School Childcare setting.
- Refer you for a benefits maximisation check if applicable.
- Signpost or refer you to support available from Fife Council or a third party if applicable. Third parties can include other authorised organisations or individuals.
What information we will need:
The personal information we collect and use will include:
- Name, E-Mail Address.
- Details of your family type, circumstances in relation to employment/education/training, household income, current benefits.
- If having a fully funded or subsidised place for your child/children in an Out of School Childcare setting is making a difference for you/the family.
- How your child/children are getting on in the fully funded or subsidised place in an Out of School Childcare setting.
What we will do with your information:
Your information, without name and email address (unless consent is requested and given by you), will be shared with the Scottish Government and their appointed evaluators – IPSOS. This is to support the evaluation of the Levenmouth EAC project.
Where it is necessary to progress offers of support for you or your family, we may share certain information with third sector partners/agencies or other Council Services, if applicable.
Where do we get your information:
You will be contacted at various intervals to complete surveys from the EAC Project Team. The information you provide will assist with the evaluation of the project. Responding to these surveys is a condition of the subsidised or fully funded place in an Out of School Childcare setting.
What would happen if we didn’t collect your information:
If we did not request and use this information, then it would not be possible to undertake the Levenmouth EAC project and provide you with a subsidised or fully funded place in an Out of School Childcare setting.
We will only retain your personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes we collected it for, including for the purposes of satisfying any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements.
