This Privacy Notice explains how we use the information that we collect about you.
The personal information provided by you when you register for community events/consultations will be used by the Council to register your participation and to communicate with you in relation in these events.
Fife Council uses the personal information provided by you:
- to facilitate consultation events and activities
- to develop and maintain an open dialogue between Fife Council and community organisations on relevant issues
- to share up-to-date information relating to voluntary organisations
- for research purposes
We hold and process the information on the basis that you have freely given us your permission to do so.
The personal information we gather and use could include name, address, contact numbers, e-mail address, postcode, and disability. The information is collected and processed for the purposes of demographic analysis
We also use information in a summarised format, not using specific individual’s information, to:
- improve how we engage with community organisations
- aid the council in its support to voluntary organisations
- provide services
We may, on occasion, contact you to seek feedback or provide outcomes of surveys you have been involved in.
We may share your information with third parties/agencies who will be working in partnership with us to deliver events and consultations or carry out research.
The only personal information we receive about you is from you when you register to take part in research/consultations.
In the event that you did not provide your personal information, we could not process your application to take part in the research or consultation event.
