Our legal basis for processing your information is for performing a task carried out in the public interest or in exercising official authority vested in the Council.
The personal information we gather and may process includes:
- name
- contact details
- date of birth
- payment details
We may also require your photograph and information relating to health conditions for access needs and to ensure your safety during participation in activities within our facilities. In addition, we may use analytical information in order to help us improve our services.
We share your information, if appropriate, with our partner providers including:
- NHS Fife
- SportScotland
- Royal Life Saving Society UK (RLSS)
- Skills Development Scotland
- other Council Services
This is to record progression qualifications and participation in pre-paid activities by providers.
We will receive information from you about yourself or from our partner providers if you have been referred to our Service for access to community facilities on medical grounds. This information is required to ensure your safe participation in activities within our facilities.
Where necessary we may obtain your personal information from your Parent/ Guardian registering on your behalf. If applicable, we will use this information to process your booking and concessionary rate. We will also use the information to ensure your safe participation in activities within our facilities.
It may be necessary for Fife Council to share lead booking/contact information with NHS Scotland and statutory partners as part of the Test and Protect Programme.
There is no automated decision-making in relation to your booking.
If we did not request and use this information, it would be impossible to process your registration or complete your booking.
