Civic Functions

Saving...

The Provost’s office will use the personal information provided by you as part of your enquiry in order to progress any requests for Civic recognition as part of the Council’s public function.

The personal information that we gather and use may include your name, contact details, specific dates and any information relating to your enquiry to us.

We share personal data with the H.M. Records office in Edinburgh as we need to confirm birth and marriage dates for recognition from H.M. The Queen.

We receive information about you via nominations from members of the public for civic recognition for organisations and individuals.

In the event that we did not request and use this information then it would not be possible to carry out our public function.
