This Privacy Notice explains how we use the information that we collect about you.
Fife Council Early Years Team use the personal information provided by you within your Family Information Service New Provider Form to process your details onto the Scottish Families Information Website. This allows families looking for childcare to access your contact details.
The personal information we gather and use includes name, address, telephone number(s), email address and any qualifications provided to us.
Your information is shared with individuals looking for childcare on the Scottish Families Information Service Website - www.families.scot.
We receive a list of all new childcare providers from the Care Inspectorate. We use this information to offer you the opportunity to have your details available on the Family Information Service Website. If you wish to have your details displayed, we will send out a Family Information Service New Provider Form for you to complete.
In the event that we did not request and use this information then your information would not be available to view on the Scottish Families Information Service Website - www.families.scot.
The Council will not keep your information for longer than is necessary. In some instances the law sets the length of time information has to be kept. The Council has a retention schedule which sets out how long we hold different types of information. The retention schedule can be found on our Privacy Policy page.
