We have introduced a Landlord Online Account.
Landlords who receive Housing Benefit payments on behalf of their tenants can register to view payment schedules online at a time convenient to them. Historic payments can also be viewed.
As a Landlord, sign up to:
- Access your Landlord Online Account 24/7
- Check the history of Housing Benefit payments you have received
- View payment schedules
How to Register or Log In to the Landlord Online Account
To register please email benctax@fife.gov.uk, with:
- Name
- Postal Address
- Preferred email address
- Telephone number
- Landlord Reference number, if known
You will be sent an email alert advising there is new correspondence for you to view in your online account. This is a new function recently made available.
Back To TopIf you received the Blameless Tenant report previously, this will now be emailed to you. The email address this will be sent to is the main email address held against your landlord reference.
The Social Sector report will no longer be issued.
Back To TopThe new online account will be created based on the main email address and contact information held against your landlord reference. Subsequent Admin Users can be created by this landlord, allowing access to other users as required. Please see the guide to assist with how to complete this task.

Back To TopEach time you log in, you'll need to input your username and password. You then select ‘Get Online Key’ and an email will automatically be sent to you. A new key will be issued each time you log in.
Back To TopYes, you can click on the start date or end date of entitlement to put claim entitlement dates in order.
Back To TopPasswords need to be changed every 90 days and you will be prompted to do this automatically when required.
Back To TopAfter three attempts your account will be locked. Please email the Benefits and Council Tax Team at benctax@fife.gov.uk to request your password is reset. The team may carry out some security checks with you to authenticate your request.
Back To TopThis is a security measure. You will be asked to sign back in where more than 30 minutes have passed since you were last active in the account.
