Abandoned vehicles

Abandoned vans, trailers and caravans

You can report an abandoned vehicle that is on private land or a public road. If reporting an abandoned vehicle on private land, please ensure you have the landowner's permission to report the vehicle before completing the form.

Please report vehicles that look as though they have been abandoned by confirming

  • what type of vehicle it is i.e. car, van, motorbike, caravan etc.
  • where the vehicle is
  • colour
  • registration number
  • make
  • condition
  • how long it has been there
  • if it's taxed and if so when it is due to expire

You can report vehicles on 03451 55 00 22 or complete the form below.

You may be asked to provide your

  • name
  • address
  • phone number.

We will do some checks and if we find the vehicle has been abandoned, we will place a notice on it. If the vehicle hasn't been moved by the time the notice expires, we will move it.
