Report an abandoned vehicle on a public road or private land. If the vehicle is on private land, you must have the landowner's permission before reporting it.
Before you start
To report an abandoned vehicle, you will need to tell us:
- the type of vehicle
- the make and model
- the registration number
- the colour of the vehicle
- where it is
- how long it has been there
We will ask you for your contact details, provide them if you would like us to contact you about your report.

What happens next
We will investigate the report. If we find the vehicle has been abandoned, we will place a notice on it. If it is not moved before the notice expires, we will move it.
