The General Teaching Council for Scotland

The members of the General Teaching Council for Scotland have a significant role to play in shaping the teaching profession of Scotland, maintaining and improving professional standards, and contributing to the development of teacher professionalism and Scottish education.

UK NARIC

Designated National Agency responsible for providing information, advice and expert opinion on qualifications worldwide. Working on behalf of the UK Government they provide a range of advisory services which compare international qualifications covering:

  • Those coming to the UK to work or study that hold international qualifications
  • Potential migrants wishing to apply through the Points Based System
  • Universities and colleges wishing to admit international students
  • Employers wishing to identify the brightest and best employees from outside the UK
