At Camdean we strive to provide all pupils with quality learning experiences which ensure that each child is equipped with the skills, knowledge and confidence to achieve his/her full potential and to contribute to the world by becoming a successful learner, confident individual, effective contributor and responsible citizen.

Camdean Primary – A bridge to future success – is our new school motto, created by one of our pupils.

The catchment of Camdean Primary covers the Camdean estate area of Rosyth, together with a zoned part of the dockyard area, which encompasses the Grampian estate and a small cluster of housing at Ferrytoll. Accommodation currently comprises eleven classrooms, a Support for Learning room, a room used for art/music, a room used as a netbook suite and for focused teaching/assessment groups and a staff resource base. We now have 2 class sets of netbooks and a class set of iPads. All classrooms have smartboard IT facilities and the school is a Wi-Fi zone. In addition we have a separate assembly/dining hall, a separate gym, medical room, stage, staffroom and a variety of offices.

Afternoon: P1 - P7 13:20 - 15:00

As a school we strongly encourage the wearing of school uniform. We believe it promotes a  sense of pride and identity and removes needless competition or peer pressure to items of  fashion clothing and footwear. Our school colours are black and gold, but we are happy to accept white polo shirts in lieu of gold. We encourage pupils to wear black shoes or black trainers.

The school is able to supply a number of uniform items on money with order basis and ordering usually takes place about four times each session. A stock of ties is available from the school office at anytime. Uniform items may also be purchased at anytime online from the My Clothing Website and the Fife SchoolWear Shop in Kirkcaldy
