We recognise the cultural and economic importance of events in Fife. We want to attract new events and also encourage existing events to grow.
The Fife Events Strategic Fund can award up to £10,000 to events that:
- have the potential to grow and generate significant economic benefits for the area
- attract new visitors to Fife
- increase Fife’s profile on the national or international stage
Criteria
You must demonstrate that your event will:
- attract a significant number of tourism visitors to Fife
- benefit the local community
- ensure long term sustainability
- build legacy and contribute to Fife’s existing events portfolio
- be organized by individuals or groups with a proven track record in event management
- generate national and international media exposure
