Service Update

From Tuesday 5 January, Fife, along with the rest of mainland Scotland, will move from Level 4 of the Scottish Government's Covid 19 protection levels to a temporary lockdown.

Community use schools are closed until Monday 1 February (indicative) apart from the delivery of outdoor organised sport and exercise for under-12s in line with workplace and socialising guidance, and sport-specific guidance agreed between the Scottish Governing Body of Sport and SportScotland. Sports providers must ensure they operate in line with the relevant guidance.

Community centres are also closed until Monday 1 February (indicative) apart from the delivery of:

  • Emergency food provision
  • Essential childcare - vulnerable children & children of keyworkers
  • Medical activity - Covid testing or vaccination centres
  • Weekly compliance checks
  • Outdoor activity in accordance with guidance
