Applying for an allotment

Fife Council uses the personal information provided by you to process and manage your application for an allotment.

We will use the information provided to us to allocate you with an allotment and to engage with you as part of consultations, surveys and publications.

Our legal basis for processing your information is for the performance of a task carried out in the public interest or in the exercise of official authority vested in the Council.

The personal information we gather and may process includes name, address, e-mail address, phone number and date of birth.

We may share your information, if appropriate, with external organisations, such as the Scottish Government as part of our annual reporting statistics and other Council Services.

We will receive information about you from yourself when you complete the application for an allotment. This information is required in order to process your application.

There is no automated decision making in relation to your booking.

In the event we did not request and use this information, it would not be possible to process your registration or complete your booking.
