The Simple Payment Plan
The Simple Payment Plan was created for those in financial difficulty. Qualifying customers can choose from either a fortnightly or monthly payment option spread across 12 months, while providing flexibility if a payment is missed.
The Simple Payment Plan is only available to those that have been invited to join. You can apply online if you have:
- received a letter from the TV Licencing Board inviting you to join
- had a visit or received calling card from a TV Licencing Officer
- been referred by a debt or money advice organisation, such as CARF

Other Discounts and Concessions
There are other TV Licence concessions, which you might be eligible for depending on your circumstances.
There are concessions available for:
- People who are aged 75 or over and receive Pension Credit
- People who are blind (severely sight impaired)
- People who live in qualifying residential care and are disabled or over 60 and retired
