Sell to the council (Property acquisition)
The Property Acquisition team may buy empty homes if they're ex-local authority properties that meet their specific criteria. This helps to support people who need housing.
If you would like to discuss this further, email emptyhomes@fife.gov.uk.

Sell on the open market
You can use an estate agent to market and sell your property. This is the most common option for homeowners.
Sell at auction
The benefits may include:
- a quicker way to sell
- often has a set sale date
- a reserve price can be set (the minimum amount you will accept for the property).
