Parental engagement at our school is rooted in strong, collaborative relationships with families. We have an active Parent Council that contributes meaningfully to school improvement, alongside open, two‑way communication that ensures parents feel informed, involved and valued.
Working together, we support learners to achieve their full potential through shared expectations, partnership working and regular opportunities to engage in learning. Our school community comes together for events, celebrations and fundraising activities that strengthen connections and enrich the experiences of all our pupils.

The school was opened in 1974 and is situated on the periphery of St Andrews close to the western section of the Ladebraes Walk. It is an open plan building and has a nursery within the building with outside garden space.
Within the main school there are, at present, eight open teaching areas. Each teaching area has a small side room adjacent where the class can meet together and shut the door. We have a large multipurpose hall which is used extensively throughout the week for P.E., drama, music, assemblies, school productions, having lunch and after school clubs.
The school day begins at 9.00am and finishes at 3.05pm.
Nursery hours are;
School uniform consists of a red school sweatshirt, red or white polo shirt and grey or black skirts or trousers.
