Dear Parent

Within this booklet we have provided an outline of our school's organisation and activities. It is designed to give general information. If however you wish to find out more, please do not hesitate to contact us and we will make arrangements to meet with you and show you round.

Our Aims:

To work in partnership with parents, carers and community to create a learning environment which will provide opportunities to enable every child to work towards becoming

To develop commited staff and pupils who work together to achieve the highest standards in all aspects of school life.

To provide a happy, caring, safe environment where self-esteem is nurtured, and individual accomplishment celebrated.

To encourage partnership and effective communication by providing an open, fair and sympathetic atmosphere where everyone feels valued and welcome.

To work with other agencies to promote healthy, safe lifestyles for the whole school community, and support children in gaining knowledge and developing skills which will help them make the correct life choices.

To equip children with the knowledge to be pro-active in the care of the environment both local and global and to be aware of the consequences of the actions and their individual carbon footprint.

As well as being a primary school we also have nursery provision for two to four-year-olds and community provision which caters for all ages in the evenings and at weekends. We want children to be successful. We can best do this by providing as wide and as interesting a range of activities as possible and by setting high standards. We try to do this in a caring and consistent way, whilst also having fun! Please contact us if you need any more information.
