The school is housed in a bright, modern building which has benefited from new windows, doors, roof and ceilings throughout as well as new flooring.

The accommodation is generous and in addition to offices and classrooms there is a library for pupils to use and a room for music and other activities.

The hall space allows the pupils opportunities to participate fully in drama and P.E. activities. There is a ramp at the front door of the school providing access for the disabled and portable ramps are available for use inside the building as necessary. The school has a disabled toilet and shower room.

The classrooms are bright and spacious and very well resourced. ICT is a key component of the curriculum and therefore computers are high in number and two of the classrooms have a wall mounted Smartboard. A mobile Smartboard is based in the additional learning space. We also have a number of Netbooks and iPads to enable a larger number of pupils access to a computer for their ICT lessons.

Pupils often make use of the school grounds which provide a wealth of opportunities for exciting outdoor experiences. We have a large variety of outdoor play equipment which is put to good use at playtimes. We also have a Trim Trail which makes playtimes far more exciting.  All pupils are given the opportunity to make use of this outdoor learning space.

We have recently been recognised for our work in Social Enterprise and have received several awards relating to this.

Morning Session: 9.00 a.m. to 12.35 p.m.

Break: 10.40 to 10.55 a.m.

Lunch: 12.35 to 1.20 p.m.

Afternoon Session: 1.20 to 3.00 p.m.

Our school uniform is:

• black or grey trousers/skirt/pinafore
• white shirt/polo shirt
• blue cardigan/jumper/sweatshirt and
• black shoes.
