Crail Primary School
- Primary School
Crail Primary School is a village school situated within the historic Royal Burgh of Crail. The original building is over 100 years old, retains much of its original character and houses 3 classrooms, a hall/dining room and a library. Two hutted classrooms are linked to the building and two additional hutted classrooms are situated in the playground. A separate purpose built Nursery is also situated in the playground.
Our general aim is to develop in the children a personal responsibility for learning in a happy atmosphere, taking into account the needs of the whole child while continuing to promote a positive interaction with the community of Crail.
A learning support teacher works with all classes.
The School Council, incorporating the Parent Teacher Council, meet regularly to discuss school issues.
The Pupil School Council meet regularly with the head teacher.
Parents are always welcome in school and are kept well informed of all school happenings.
