Dear Parent
Ceres Primary sits at the heart of the local village community. Our catchment includes the communities of Ceres, Kemback, Pitscottie and surrounding area. The Nursery class also takes in children from Craigrothie.
Each year we have either 4 or 5 primary classes and a nursery that can accommodate up to 30 children. We have six classrooms in the main building, one of which is used as a library and nurture room. Both school and nursery benefit from extensive grounds with space to play and explore, including our nature garden, trim trail and loose parts play equipment.
We are lucky to belong to a wonderfully supportive community full of rich resources and people. We have strong partnerships with parents and carers, community businesses and services, and wider engagement with the towns of Cupar and St. Andrews.
Our values of kindness, courage, respect and responsibility underpin relationships, learning and school life. Our staff team is dedicated to providing meaningful learning experiences and we fully recognise the important partnership of home and school in supporting taking learning forward. We work together to ensure that Ceres Primary and Nursery offers engaging, creative learning in a safe, nurturing and welcoming environment. On entering our school, everyone should feel the welcoming, caring and friendly ethos we work hard to provide.
Please contact us if you would like to know more about the school and community or if you would like to arrange a visit.
A warm welcome awaits you.
Sarah Cloy, Headteacher.
