Capshard Primary School is located on Barry Road in Kirkcaldy. The school operates as a large, modern campus with extensive accommodation to support both primary and early years learning.

The school includes 18 primary classes alongside a well‑developed Early Learning and Childcare (ELC) provision. The nursery is housed within purpose-built accommodation, which features multiple playrooms designed to support high‑quality early years education. The nursery facilities include:

• four playrooms, each with their own toilet and cloakroom areas
• a dedicated indoor–outdoor play space, specifically designed to allow free-flow movement between indoor and outdoor learning environments
• a family room and appropriate changing facilities
• direct access to enclosed outdoor areas from each playroom, enabling regular outdoor learning and exploration

These spaces are designed to be inviting, flexible, and enriched with high‑quality, real-life materials that support children’s curiosity and wellbeing.

Across the primary school, the building provides a safe, well‑organised environment that supports a wide range of learning experiences.  School and nursery accommodation is suitable for whole-class learning, small-group support, and wider-school activities.
