About West Braes
A clifftop recreation space with mown grass is located at the southwestern end of the village. Facilities include a play area, a seasonal refreshment kiosk with seating and planters, and a shelter with seating. A fenced-off area in the middle of the site previously housed a skate ramp. At the eastern end of the site, there are wildlife interpretation boards and elevated views out to sea.
A main pathway runs from the car park and toilet block on the west side through the centre of the site to the eastern end, where further pathways continue down to the shore, coastal path, and open-water swimming pool.
