About Stenton Pond

Area: 17 acres / 7 hectares

Stenton Pond is a peaceful spot surrounded by natural woodland and planted trees. A series of reed‑edged ponds makes this area beautiful and provides a home for lots of wildlife, making it a great place for nature lovers.

A well‑maintained path runs through the site, crossing the water on a wooden bridge and following the Lochty Burn. Although views of the ponds are limited from the path, the setting remains calm and relaxing.

There’s a large car park for easy access, along with benches and picnic tables along the northern edge - perfect for a break or a picnic. The area is carefully managed to protect and encourage biodiversity, making it a haven for both people and wildlife.
