About Festival Gardens
Created in 1950, this space is located to the west of the promenade and in the heart of a residential area. The site is accessible from the promenade, forms an important civic space, and has access points on all sides.
It includes surfaced paths, ramped access, benches, bedding displays, and amenity tree and shrub planting. There is also mown grass and a memorial stone set within a circular bedding display.
