About East Bents
The East Bents is a narrow strip of land between the beach and the Kinness Burn. It links via the lock to the main harbour and forms the southern breakwater. There are extensive sea views.
A well‑used tarmac path runs along the edge of the space, with benches providing a good vantage point. A small play area sits at the southern end, next to a refreshment kiosk and a seasonal toilet block. A community‑led strip of meadow has been established alongside the burn to improve biodiversity.
