About Cowdenbeath Public Park
An old town park close to the town centre, containing remnants of its original facilities and landscape. Its landform is a shallow valley hidden between hills covered with houses. At the western end, there is a direct visual link to the school playing fields across the road. A play area is located in the centre of the park. An attractive avenue of mature trees lines the main central path, and some mature beech woodland occupies the eastern part of the steep slopes.
