Park History
Balbirnie is a country estate landscape designed in the informal style and developed during the 18th and 19th centuries by Robert Robinson and Thomas White. There is an extensive collection of unusual rhododendrons and 60 species of trees.
The estate walled garden is now an allotment and the estate house is now a hotel. Both the hotel and the golf course are private and are not part of the public park.
