Fife Folk Museum celebrates the social, domestic and working lives of the people in Fife. The Museum is housed in historic buildings located in the heart of the Conservation Area of the historic village of Ceres.
On display is a broad, colourful collection of artefacts representing many areas of working and domestic life in Fife. Almost entirely donated by the people of Fife, this is testimony to their affectionate regard for the Museum.
Permanent displays include the Weigh House Weights and Measures collection and the Cottage Room illustrating a bygone lifestyle. Each year different aspects of the collections are featured. 2012 will feature the Fife and Forfar Yeomanry, Cupar Quilters and the linen industry which played an important part in the local economy in past times.
