Language Pathways
Gaelic language classes in Fife are delivered through a partnership of organisations and services, helping Fifers of all ages and abilities to access learning opportunities and progress their Gaelic skills.
Fife Council supports Gaelic learning through a range of services. Community Learning and Development (CLD) offers free daytime and evening beginner classes, along with other adult learning opportunities. Fife Council's Community Use Schools provide evening language classes for a small fee, with Fifestyle concessions available for eligible learners.
In addition, the Workers' Educational Association (WEA) delivers free short courses during the day and evening in community venues across Fife.
The University of St Andrews offers online evening classes.
Fife Libraries provide access to Gaelic books and free computer use for library members.
Gaelic learning opportunities in Fife are funded by Bòrd na Gàidhlig and through a mix of Fife Council support, learner contributions (for some Community Use classes), and funding secured by partner organisations.

Conversation Circles
Our Conversation groups are in partnership with local venues, libraries, cafes etc. While the Conversation group itself is free, we do ask that you support the venue hosting it by treating yourself to a wee cuppy.
Carnegie Library, Dunfermline.
This session is open to all levels and meets at 10:00am for an hour in the cafe for an informal chat and an hour reading and translating, usually in the Queen Margarets Room.
Sessions are fortnightly with the following dates confirmed: 17 & 31 August, 14 & 28 September, 12 & 26 October, 9 & 23 November, 7 & 21 December
