On Wednesday 21 August 2024, pupils started at both schools in Dunfermline Learning Campus.

Dunfermline Learning Campus will bring together pupils, students and staff at St Columba’s RC High School, Woodmill High School and Fife College in modern, fit for purpose and low carbon facilities.
‘Whilst there are many opportunities to a shared site for both schools, it's important we celebrate the unique identities of both St. Columba's RC and Woodmill High School.
'As schools, we'll continue representing the communities we serve, maintaining our own values, school staff and learning spaces. We'll use working closely together to our advantage by creating a wider range of benefits for our young people.
'The schools have exciting and innovative learning spaces, including outstanding sporting facilities that the wider community can use too.
'Through collaborating with Fife College, we're offering learning pathways for our young people, supporting their ambition into training, employment, further and higher education.’

The ambitious plans are designed to give flexibility in the delivery of the curriculum all whilst retaining the individual school identities.
