The Dunfermline based company, Optos, very generously donated money to Fife Coast & Countryside Trust for the Lyne Burn Project to allow us to buy over 1000 native broadleaf trees to plant along the burn in Rex Park.

A survey was carried out and found a wide variety of pollinator species from bumblebees to butterflies making the most of the native wildflowers along the burn.
