The upper floors are accessed by two lifts. All bedrooms are spacious and airy with en-suite toilets and either a shower or a bath. The top floor features extra large bedrooms and en-suite shower rooms giving these residents almost unprecedented independence within a comforting cocoon.

Methven House also enjoys a wide range of facilities ranging from an in-house hairdressing salon to an internet café.

A state-of-the-art sprinkler system, low surface-temperature radiators and other special safety and security systems have been designed-in, as have sun-pipes to provide natural light wherever possible. Direct-dial telephone system with itemised billing is installed in each bedroom. The nursing home also features specialised bathing facilities and an intercall alarm facility with its own audio link which alerts staff instantly to any problems and allows instant communication between residents and care staff.

Surrounding Methven House are its own private landscaped garden areas where residents can take a stroll or simply sit and enjoy the fresh air and flowers. Ideally located in the heart of Kirkcaldy town centre, its close proximity to the local bus and train stations also places Methven House within easy reach of the many attractions of the surrounding area.
