Abbotsford Kinglassie was built in 1996, with services available for older people and adults, people with dementia and learning difficulties. The facility is situated in the residential area of Mina Crescent providing residents with a well developed garden and enclosed, secluded patio area in which to enjoy the outdoors.

The building is single storey accommodating 12 people in each of our 2 units, Islay and Jura. Each house provides individual bedrooms with en suite, a lounge area, kitchen and dining areas, Islay also has a lovely conservatory area to sit and relax in. Staff extend a warm, friendly and welcoming atmosphere creating a family feeling for all who stay here.

Abbotsford Kinglassie can be easily reached by public bus services which stop on the main street less than 5 minutes walk from the Home. Parking is available in the grounds of the Home for those travelling by car. The amenities in the village include a small café and pubs to enjoy a morning coffee or bar lunch. Planned activities (in house and also out of the house) are discussed at the residents meetings on a monthly basis and are organised by the staff on site.

Our bedrooms are bright, spacious and residents are encouraged to personalise their rooms with pieces of furniture, ornaments and pictures from their own home.
