There are many people in Fife who can help you make your home a safer place to be.
- A Home Security Adviser from Fife Constabulary can visit your home and conduct a free Home Security Survey, providing advice on how to make your home secure.
- If you are aged over 70, the Homecheck service can visit your home and identify hazards and areas of danger, giving you advice on how to make your home safer. A Home Safety Adviser may be able to fit 10-year smoke alarms and do any necessary repairs on the spot, free of charge.
- The Fire Service offers free home safety visits to help families produce 'Fire Safety Action Plans', which will help everyone to understand what they should do if their smoke alarm goes off.
