Hospice care for adults

Hospices provide care specifically for terminally ill people and give support to their carers both in the hospice and at home.

Admission is arranged through your doctor or hospital consultant.

The Social Work Service can make arrangements for social respite should your needs not be of a medical nature but your carer requires further support in managing your care.

Your doctor or hospital consultant should know of homes in your area.
