Transportation Services in Fife Council work closely with both road and rail freight operators to maximise efficiency for transporting goods in and out of Fife, also supporting the role of airports for freight transport.
The Local Transport Strategy for Fife includes planning, development and delivery of freight transport, including intermodal hubs - areas where freight transport can be integrated - such as Rosyth Europarc for sea, rail and road.
