  Community Fire Safety within Fife continues to develop. The main emphases being on the partnership approach both within Fife and nationally. The Fire Service in Scotland continues to introduce innovative ways of ensuring the fire safety message hits home. In Fife there are many partnerships established. Partnerships with other emergency services, council departments and other agencies enhance the safety of our communities.

• Fire Safety Legislation
  

  Advice and guidance about legislative Fire Safety. Your workplace, your requirements and guidance on risk assessments.

• Free smoke alarms
  

  Fire Fire & Rescue Service, in conjunction with Fife Council, can provide you with a Smoke Alarm. A local Fire crew will visit your home and fit a smoke detector for you free of charge. You will also be given advice on how to maintain and test your smoke alarm.

• Home Fire Safety visit
  

  Fife Fire and Rescue Service offer a free Fire Safety Visit. A Community Fire Safety Officer will visit your home, free of charge and offer advice on a variety of fire safety issues
