Back To TopTo make sure your vote is counted in this election, you vote using numbers.
Your ballot paper will list all the candidates standing to be councillors in your ward.
You will be asked to number the candidates in order of your choice, using 1, 2, and 3 and so on. You can make as many or as few choices as you wish. You don’t have to put a number beside every candidate. As long as you put the number “1” against one of the candidates, your vote will be counted.
Please note that if you skip a number, for example put a 1 against one candidate, a 2 against another, and then miss out 3 and jump to 4, 5 and 6 etc, the votes after the break will not be counted.
Back To TopYou can view a list of polling places for the Election on our Polling Locations page.
