Fair Isle Nursery is a purpose built nursery opened in 1978 with an overall capacity for 152 children providing places for 56 pre-school children and 20 under 3s both morning and afternoon. The nursery is open for 52 weeks of the year and can offer extended services dependant upon your family's needs.
The nursery building consists of four play rooms, a sensory room, a computer room, a dining room (where our cook produces meals on the premises), toilet facilities in every area, a covered patio area and an extensive garden area which is used throughout the year. Pre-school children also have the opportunity of visits to the local forest. We follow the national curriculum to ensure that children have well-planned, high quality experiences. We are the proud owners of an ECO schools Green Flag award for our environmental work.
We try to ensure that as parents you feel welcomed in the nursery and part of this important stage in your child's life. We also work very closely with a range of other agencies to support families.
Opening Hours
Standard provision: Monday to Friday,9.00-11.30 and 12.45-3.15. Extended services may be available for the children of working parents or if supported by another agency between 7.30am and 6.00pm.Holidays and Closures

From John Smith business park (Sainsbury's roundabout, take the 2nd exit, straight across the next 2 roundabouts, take the right hand lane at the traffic lights onto Fair Isle Road. Pass Fair Isle School and park on-street (our car park is too small to allow parents to park unless they hold a disabled badge).For more information contact
