General Location

Leven Bus Station is located just off the Promenade between the Leisure Centre and High Street Shops.  There are 8 stances.

Staffing Hours

Monday to Friday      0730 - 2230

Saturday                  0800 - 2230

Sunday                    1200 - 2030

The Supervisor's Office is located within the main building and is fitted with an induction loop for deaf and hard of hearing people.

Waiting Room

The waiting room is located in the main building and is only open during staffing hours. Perch seating is available at each stance under the building’s canopy.

Parking

Shorehead Car Park is free, with space for 38 cars, 4 spaces for Blue European Parking Badge Holders and located behind the Bus Station. Seagate Car Park is free, with space for 10 cars and is located to the side of Farmfoods.

Drop-off / Pick-up points

Passengers can be dropped off or picked up within the Shorehead Car Park.

Taxi Ranks

There is a taxi rank immediately behind the bus station building.

Telephones

There is a public telephone in the waiting room. This phone accepts coins only.  There is also a telephone adjacent to the Seagate Car Park. This phone accepts coins only.

Bus Information

Each stance has timetable and route information. Electronic information is displayed within the main building and at each stance. There are information points opposite Stances 2 and 7 and on the rear of the main building. Each stance is fitted with a speaker system which can speak departure information when triggered by a special key fob.

The Supervisor’s Office and Stagecoach Travel Shop are inside the main building.

Stance Access

The building and stances are accessed on one level. Access is onto Stances 1 or 8 from surrounding footways. Raised crossings on Branch Street and at the head of the taxi rank allow level access across these streets to neighbouring footways.

Toilets

Ladies, Gents, Disabled toilets and baby changing facilities are located within the main building.  There is a 30p charge for use of the toilets.

Left Luggage

Luggage lockers are available in the waiting room. A non-returnable charge of £1 is levied for each locker.

Cycle Facilities

There are 4 cycle lockers located near Stance 1. Users must contact the bus station supervisor for initial access to the lockers. Users must also provide their own padlock.

CCTV

There are CCTV cameras positioned throughout the Bus Station and the Shorehead Car Park.

The Stagecoach Travel Shop is located in the main building and is open:

(closed 1300 - 1400)

Saturday                 1000 - 1400

Sundays                 Closed

The Travel Shop is fitted with an induction loop for deaf and hard of hearing people.

A Kiosk, selling newspapers and refreshments, is available in the main building.
